If you’re already a qualified Level 3 sports massage therapist, the Level 4 Certificate in Massage Therapy for Sports is how you take your practice — and your earning potential — to the next stage. It’s the qualification that moves you from delivering treatments to assessing and managing more complex soft-tissue injuries, working with athletes and sports teams, and standing out as a higher-level therapist.
You’ll develop advanced manual skills, in-depth subjective and objective assessment, and treatment techniques that support injury rehabilitation — including the use of cryotherapy and heat treatments. Study the advanced theory at your own pace on our interactive e-learning platform, with a tutor-led induction, full course resources, 16 hours of live virtual clinics and a dedicated student support team. Your practical is completed via video assessment.
Combine online coursework with hands-on, tutor-led practical workshops at one of our venues, where you'll practise advanced assessment and treatment techniques and complete your practical assessment in person.

To enrol on the Level 4 Certificate in Massage Therapy for Sports, you'll need to have achieved a Level 3 Diploma in Massage Therapy for Sports (or equivalent), be at least 16 years old, and have basic communication skills.
