Gaining work experience before or during the completion of your level 2 gym instructor qualification is a great way to get hands on experience in the role of gym instructor. Volunteering at your local gym or leisure centre will show your commitment and can lead to an employed role once qualified.
This could be 8 hours across the week with a number of different shifts and times as you can experience different time of the day. If you don’t have the time to spare then talk to the staff when you are training, get friendly with the managers and duty managers. This shows you are approachable and friendly which is great for when you are qualified.
